Collecting Clothing for a Cause

MCS is a company dedicated to providing funding for non-profit organizations through
the collection and distribution of used clothing and household
items. This is accomplished through four programs: Door to door pick-up service, clothing drop boxes, business clothing drives, and attended donation locations.

MPS Texas provides residential pickup of used clothing and household items to benefit the following charities:

Texas Paralyzed Veterans is available in Houston, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, San Antonio and Austin.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is available in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Lone Star Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America is available in Dallas.

Houston Achievement Place is available in Houston.

The EPA Research, completed in 2000, shows that as much as 85% of used textiles end up in landfills. MCS is working to help correct this problem in our community while funding local non-profit organizations.

Your clothing donations allow MCS to contribute financially to local charities

By donating your used clothing through MCS you:

1: Help the environment.
2: Help provide jobs in our local area (MCS employs over 100 full-time and part-time staff).
3: Provide funding for non-profit organizations. The organizations we fund vary in size and objectives, but they all have one thing in common; they need financial assistance to carry out their objectives. Through your clothing donations you help provide the necessary funding to carry out their work.

MCS collects all clothing and household items which are then sold in bulk to thrift stores locally.

The stores we work with provide low cost quality items as well as jobs and services in their community. They empower people to be able to provide clothing, etc. for their families and select from a large quantity of quality items, so they can not only find items that fit but are the color and style they want. Most of the stores carry over 20,000 garments. The thrift stores also provide jobs for over 25 full and part-time employees.
